Building Authority (City), to provide management oversight for the project and
develop an exit strategy. FCA provides operational direction to senior staff
and financial management. Myrtle Creek Golf Course is an 18-hole championship
course located in Myrtle Creek, Oregon financed by tax-exempt and taxable
bonds

Kansas State University
FCA directed the financial analysis,
structuring of the project capitalization, selection of the underwriter, bond
council, and bank participants for the development of the Colbert Hill Golf
Course. The project completed for Kansas State University (KSU) included an
18-hole championship golf course, a 9-hole executive course, research
facilities, classrooms, and a practice center that serves as national training
center for the First Tee youth program. In conjunction with the development of
Colbert Hills, KSU in consort with the Golf Course Superintendents (GCSAA)
began a degree program in golf course management. The project capitalization
of $17 million was provided by individual and corporate donations and a
tax-exempt bond of $8 million backed by a bank letter of credit.

Colbert Burns & McDonnell Golf LLC
Retained by Colbert Golf, a successful
golf course company, to develop a new company, Colbert Burns & McDonnell (CBM),
in partnership with Kansas City-based Burns & McDonnell, to provide golf
development and management services to tax-exempt entities. Burns & McDonnell
is a large architectural, engineering, and project management company.
Under the CBM umbrella, FCA provided
development management to Sycamore Ridge Golf Course at the City of Spring
Hill, Kansas. The project is an 18-hole championship course for a small city
in suburban Kansas City. Responsible for all development activities except for
construction management. Some of the activities included the selecting and
acquiring the site; structuring the transaction; development and management of
the development budgets; selecting the contractor, architect, underwriter,
feasibility consultant, and bond council.
Commonwealth of Kentucky selected CBM to
provide an analysis of seven state park sites for suitability as golf courses.
FCA acted as the project manager for a development team that included Arnold
Palmer Design, Ryan Construction, Ranger Construction, engineering companies,
and CBM. The study of development costs, project feasibility, financial
structure and potential economic impact to Kentucky were completed in 2000.

Mr. Crooks serves as a
Director of Turf Commerce an e commerce business-to-business marketplace for
the turf grass industry. Turf Commerce, and its partners provide an e
commerce solution and an open market place for buyers and sellers of
commodities and services related to golf, landscape and park and recreation.
